When Korey and Breckan first reached out to me back in 2024 about their June 21, 2025 wedding at Stone Ridge Estates in Pasco, Washington, I loved how intentional they were, not just about the details of their day, but about the experience they wanted to share with the people they love. Their vision was soft and inviting: light pink, ice blue, and sage green, woven into an upscale rustic celebration that felt personal, calm, and so- "them".

Before the Wedding

We actually met for the first time at the Ever After Bridal Expo, long before their wedding day arrived. They stopped by my booth, we connected instantly, and booked their engagement session shortly after. That session was our first real chance to spend time together, to laugh, wander, and create images that felt soft, a little silly, and full of heart. By the time their wedding day came, we already had a rhythm together that made documenting their story feel so natural and easy.

I learned even more about their journey, how they first met in high school band class, how life pulled them in different directions until college, and how their relationship grew slowly and steadily into the kind of love that feels like home. There’s something special about couples who find each other young but grow into adulthood side-by-side. Photographing that kind of history is a privilege.

A Soft, Overcast June Day

The Wedding Day Unfolds


Stone Ridge Estates is beautiful on any day, but on this one, the sky gave us something extra: a blanket of soft, even overcast light. For photographers, it’s a dream, like shooting inside a giant natural softbox.

Every moment felt gentle. Every detail photographed like film.


From the quiet getting-ready moments to the first time Korey and Breckan saw each other that afternoon, the atmosphere was unhurried. You could feel the steadiness of their relationship in the way they held each other, in the way they laughed, in the way they looked at their families with full hearts.

Why I Love Weddings Like This

I’m drawn to wedding days that are authentic, and unrushed. Where the beauty isn’t just in the details, but in the relationships. Where people choose each other openly, softly, and with full hearts. Korey and Breckan’s wedding reminded me that most love stories aren’t loud. They begin in the quiet corners of everyday life, band class, college hallways, and grow into something strong enough to build a future on.

These are the moments I want couples to see when they look back at their photos. Not a performance. Not a Pinterest-perfect version of themselves. But the truth of who they were that day.
